Overview
We can scan in high definition or ultra-high definition. These two technologies—explained in more detail below—enable us to scan all types of parts to generate a digital model (STL). Based on this model, several services are available:
- CAD Reconstruction (STEP, IGES, Parasolid, etc.)
- 3D Printing from a Scanned File
Ultra-High Definition (UHD) 3D Scan
It is an effective way to reproduce old parts, rare items, or one-of-a-kind components.
Technical Specifications
- Accuracy: +/- 0.01 mm
- Maximum dimensions: Please contact us
Application
- Recreate the 3D file and technical documentation for a component.
- Replace an obsolete part—for which there is no CAD data—in a mechanical assembly.
- Duplicate a Manually Created Part
- Developing a product from a design mockup
- Reproduce and adapt a product to create a variation of it
- Improve a product’s performance and/or features
- View and compare the part’s geometric defects against its theoretical CAD model
- Map a component’s environment before designing it.
Large-Volume 3D Scanning
Maximum dimensions
500 x 300 x 500 mm
Application
Medium- and large-sized functional components suitable for industrial applications, including the automotive, medical, leather goods, and machinery sectors, among others.
